Family portrait Greenwich, London

With Christmas approaching, Susie got in touch as she wanted to send some special photos of her and her daughter, May, back home to her family in New Zealand.

Having only recently moved to Eltham, she wasn’t sure of the best location, but she wanted the shoot to show London and the area that she lived – so I suggested Greenwich which is just down the road. Any old excuse for me to visit my “happy place”.

It was a perfect crisp if morning, if a little chilly. We firstly met just outside the Greenwich Maritime Museum and had a wander where May had a great time running around the grounds.

The Queens House had some gorgeous Christmas trees with fairly lights on display that were perfect for a Christmassy shot of May and Susie - I especially like the one of the Hongi - the traditional New Zealand kiss.

The day was finished off with a walk around Greenwich Park for a little game of hide and seek. Lovely!
