If its good enough for Charles and Camilla its good enough for Neil and Jenny….. Having enjoyed several weekend breaks to Windsor, The Guildhall was the perfect venue for couple to tie the knot as it was a special place for them. Across the road is the gorgeous MacDonalds hotel, where the bride and bridesmaids got themselves ready, and all a stones throw from Windsor Castle.  After the ceremony we took a walk along Windsor High Street to have some photographs taken outside the gates of the castle and then I took the Bride and Groom to the Royal Mile for some more portraits.

Here is a selection of images from their day.

What made you choose your venue?

We have always loved Windsor and often went for weekend breaks away, so it seemed only natural to organise our special day in our ’Special Place”

Where did you find your dress from?

Perfection Bridal in Maidstone. I have always loved the designer Justin Alexander and his dresses. It was always my goal to have one of his dresses. When I came round to dress shopping, I did shop around but I fell in love with Perfection mainly because they stocked all of Justin Alexander’s gowns.

Your wedding shoes?

I originally bought some Louboutins, however they were so uncomfortable I had to get another pair, so I ended up going to John Lewis and finding some shoes from their Rainbow range. My Louboutins are still in their box!!

Your florist? Choice of flowers?

We wanted a Winter Wonderland theme, our chosen venue is always decorated beautifully for christmas, I asked the hotel what florist they used for their designs, which happened to be a local florist located round the corner in Windsor, so I got in touch with them. They were absolutely amazing and produced the most incredible designs and flowers. I went for a sparkling gypsophilla for my bridesmaid and I had a brooch bouquet which was made up of sparking, silver and white broaches to match the theme.

Who was your hairstylist and MUA?

Carly Turner – she would always do my hair and make up on special occasions and I have always loved her style. I went with Nude’s and natural colours for my make up. I wanted my hair to have lots of volume and mainly down, but partially up to allow my veil to be placed in my hair.
